Mobile Tool Cart

This simple but sturdy cart provides mobility to your benchtop tools. It is especially useful as a wheelchair user allowing access up under the benchtop to safely reach your tool or handle the work piece.

If shop space is tight or non-existent, and you find yourself competing with your wife’s car for garage floorspace, then build yourself a couple of these carts. The large diameter, lockable casters means your entire bench, tools and all, can be easily moved to a work space outside, and no more sweeping sawdust from the garage or dusting off her car!

The design is not fancy, but its functional. Sanding is recommend, but no real finishing is required. The 2×6 deck measures 47in x 22in and is a good mounting surface to directly anchor down benchtop tools.
